Changelog

One block per release, newest first, naming what arrived without repeating the whole story.

1.0.0

First stable release. Every report against the rounds below came back confirmed fixed, nothing in this entry changes how the plugin behaves.

1.0.0-7

The round where chat is said once.

  • Couple chat shows once on servers whose chat plugin passes the message through the server a second time for its own routing, the repeat is recognised and answered only once
  • Toggles belong to the player who set them, the first toggle anyone flipped used to become the default for every player who had never touched one, and partners could overwrite each other

1.0.0-6

The round where the ring remembers.

  • After a divorce, both rings keep the wedding date and add the divorce date to their lore
  • Couple chat no longer shows twice on servers with a chat plugin, the message is taken before the chat plugin sees it
  • Left, right and shift click on the Toggles lever in /marry menu flip chat, tp and gift again, the click did nothing before

1.0.0-5

The round where everything is said once.

  • The Father's welcome lines show once, the couple get them in their action bar instead of a second chat line
  • Either partner can use the shared home, whoever set it
  • /marry divorce only asks for confirmation, nothing changes until /marry divorce confirm
  • Help shows /marry once per command, including on servers whose language files date from the first release
  • Couple chat starts off after marrying instead of taking over normal chat straight away

1.0.0-4

The round where nobody stays stuck engaged.

  • /marry divorce now calls off an engagement too, free and with no cooldown, cancelling a running ceremony with a refund
  • /marry admin unset <player> [partner] resets engaged, married or out of sync players to single, no fee, no cooldown
  • A relationship record whose partner does not point back is reset to single on login, with a console warning
  • Accepting a proposal checks both players are still single, so crossing proposals can no longer leave a half engaged pair
  • A ceremony only starts when both partners are engaged to each other, not just the one who ran the command
  • Proposing while engaged or married now says exactly why instead of "both of you must be single"
  • The Father stops speaking when a ceremony is cancelled, instead of finishing the welcome lines to an empty church

1.0.0-3

The round where "I do" can be clicked.

  • The "I do" prompt in chat is clickable again, it was sent as plain text so the click did nothing and the question phase timed out
  • The prompt now also spells out /marry ceremony ido as a typed alternative
  • The server wide wedding announcement has its message in all three languages instead of printing a raw key

1.0.0-2

The round where the commands actually answer.

  • Fixed the bundled language file path that stopped the plugin from enabling, which left every command silent
  • Bare /marry shows help page 1
  • A failed enable no longer stacks a misleading reload error on top of the real one
  • Help entries no longer print /marry twice, em dashes in shipped messages became hyphens

1.0.0-1

First round. The whole plugin.

  • Proposals, acceptance, decline, timeouts and a distance limit
  • Churches: region, altar, entrance, seats and per-phase music, all admin commands
  • The Father NPC through FancyNpcs, Citizens or a built in villager, in that priority
  • A full six phase ceremony: procession, welcome, vows, the question, pronouncement, cleanup
  • Preset and custom vows, filtered and length limited
  • Rings, fireworks and a server wide announcement on pronouncement
  • Region protection while a ceremony runs, disconnect grace, and refunds on cancel
  • Shared home, teleport requests, private couple chat, gifts and a kiss
  • Yearly anniversaries with a weighted reward pool
  • Main, church list, ceremony and admin menus, every command also a button
  • English, French and Spanish, English always kept as the fallback
  • Five PlaceholderAPI placeholders
