Install PlaceholderAPI and NovaFFA's expansion registers itself automatically, no config key to flip. Identifier: ffa.
Statistics

A rank past the last ranked player returns 0 for a count and - for a name, rather than the placeholder failing to resolve. The ranking is kept in memory and refreshed once a minute, so polling this heavily from a scoreboard or hologram costs nothing extra. See Statistics.
