The old ffa. and continuum.ffa. nodes from ContinuumFFA are not supported. If you are migrating permission groups from that plugin, re-grant using the novaffa. nodes above.
novaffa.arena.<arena> is never granted by default, an owner hands it out per arena through their permissions plugin, to whichever group or player should be able to join it.
