Permissions
Every permission node NationCrest registers, what it grants and its default.
| Node | Grants | Default |
|---|---|---|
nationcrest.use | The /flag help output | Everyone |
nationcrest.toggle | /flag toggle, /flag show, /flag hide | Everyone |
nationcrest.info | /flag info on yourself | Everyone |
nationcrest.info.others | /flag info <player> on somebody else | Operators |
nationcrest.admin | /flag set, /flag reset, /flag debug | Operators |
nationcrest.reload | /flag reload | Operators |
What players get without any setup
Out of the box a normal player can view the help, hide and show their own flag, and see their own country. Nothing else.
That is deliberate. Nobody needs a permission plugin for NationCrest to be useful.
Locking it down further
If you do not want players hiding their flag at all, take nationcrest.toggle away:
# LuckPerms, as an example
permissions:
- nationcrest.toggle: falseTheir flag then always shows and /flag hide tells them they do not have permission.
Tab completion follows permissions
/flag only suggests subcommands the player can actually run, so a normal player pressing tab sees toggle, show, hide and info, not set or reload.
Missing permission
There is no stack trace and no silent failure. The player gets general.no-permission from the language file, which you can reword.
