Commands
Every NationCrest command, its permission and what it does.
The main command is /flag. /flags and /nationcrest do exactly the same thing.
Tab completion works on every argument, and only suggests what the player running it can actually use. An unknown subcommand prints the help rather than an error.

The ones worth explaining
toggle flips whichever way the player currently is. show and hide set it outright and say so if it was already that way.
Hiding a flag does not remove it, it makes every output return the display.fallback string instead, so a tab list format does not collapse into an empty gap. %nationcrest_toggled% still reports the real state.
The tab list and nametag update immediately, no rejoin needed.
Prints the country name, the two letter code and the formatted flag.
Run on somebody else it also tells you if their flag is hidden, and if what you are looking at is a manual override rather than a detected country.
Works on players who are not online, because the country is stored against the account.
Forces a player's country. The code is validated against countries.yml, so a typo gets a clear message rather than silently sticking.
An override wins over anything detected and survives restarts. It also means the plugin stops looking that player's address up at all, which is the point when somebody is on a VPN and wants their real country shown.
Tab completion offers the full country code list on the third argument.
Clears an override. Their country is detected again on their next join.
If they had no override, it says so rather than pretending it did something.
Reloads config.yml, countries.yml and the language file, pushes the new settings everywhere, refreshes every online player's tab list name and nametag, and reopens the country database.
Reports how long it took. If a file has a syntax error, it says the reload failed and the reason goes to your console, and the plugin carries on with what it had.
The support command. It reports:
- which provider you configured, and which one is actually in use
- whether the country database is loaded, and the date it was built
- the state of the HTTP endpoint, including whether it is on cooldown
- how many addresses are cached and how many players are stored
- the display mode
- the address the plugin actually saw for you
That last line is the one that matters. If it shows a private address, or the same address for every player, your proxy IP forwarding is not set up. See Country detection.
Before you open a support ticket
Run /flag debug and have that output ready. It answers most questions on its own.
