Where to get help and report bugs.
Discord
All help and bug reports go through Discord: discord.arrowtan.cc for support, updates, and suggestions.
When reporting a problem, include:
- Your server software and Minecraft version (for example Paper 1.20.4).
- The plugin version from
/version zQuestRank. - What you expected and what happened instead.
- Any errors from the console around that moment.
- The relevant part of your
ranks.ymlif the problem is about a specific quest, requirement, or reward.
Turning on general.debug: true in config.yml makes the console log quest progress and claim decisions, which often shows the cause straight away.
Before you ask
- Check the FAQ; the usual suspects are covered there.
- For a placeholder problem, run
/papi parse me <placeholder>and see what comes back. See Placeholders. - Edits reload on their own a few seconds after you save (
general.auto-reload, on by default). If you turned that off, run/rank admin reloadafter config edits; a stale config explains a lot of "it does not work".
