Five random quests each day, drawn from a pool you control. How it works.

Quests as files

Every quest is one small YAML file. Make your own.

After you buy

  1. Install TheAPI first

    Section titled “Install TheAPI first”

    zDailyQuests needs TheAPI to draw the menu. Put it in plugins/ before you start.

  2. Drop in the jar

    Section titled “Drop in the jar”

    Move the zDailyQuests jar into plugins/ and start the server once to generate the config and the starter quests.

  3. Tune it

    Section titled “Tune it”

    Open config.yml to set the reset window, claim mode, and the bonus reward, then edit the messages to taste.

  4. Add your own quests

    Section titled “Add your own quests”

    Follow Creating Quests to grow the pool. Reload with /dq reload, no restart needed.
