Debuffs (negative levels)
Falling below 0 turns the world against you. Each negative level adds a penalty and keeps the ones above it, so a -3 player carries all three.
Level -1
Villager prices +25%
Villagers charge you more. Every trade you open costs 25% extra on the first ingredient, the same cost item vanilla itself adjusts. Other players still pay their own price.
Golden apples turn on you
Eat a golden apple, normal or enchanted, and you get Slowness for 10 seconds afterward. You still get the apple’s own effects, the Slowness is added on top.

Price markup at each level
| Trade Level | Villager prices |
|---|---|
| -1 | +25% |
| -2 | +50% |
| -3 | +100% |
How the price change works
The markup applies only while that player has the trade window open. Close it and the villager is back to normal for everyone else. Wandering traders are left alone. All three multipliers are configurable in Configuration.
